I installed these last year. They were fairly straight forward. The one question I had was answered with one phone. Today my jeep was hit rather hard in a traffic accident broadside. The armor only suffered damage to my Rustoleum paint job. The old lady’s car that hit me and the second car she hit did not fair well. I highly recommend these. They made my 25 yr old jeep a tank. Nobody was injured.
Love the idea, but didn't know I still needed to grind some of the bracket off. Sat too close to me driveshaft. It would catch and fling it out of gear. Other than that works smoothly.
Fits a lil weird but a nice product!
First off, these work very well. Just want I wanted. The first time I installed them I tried to follow the instructions and use the included nutserts. What a pain!!! Three of the four nutserts went in well, but the lower one on the drivers side is really hard to install due to the steering wheel and dash. That Jeep ended up being a parts Jeep so I moved the bar to a second Jeep and simply used self tapping screws. That went it great and was easy to install.
Your product is very good and fits well.
Rubberfeetwarehouse.com has the grommets you want to make this a superior product. I installed on mine, and it's beautiful.
